stove piping , what is that?
When a extracted shell casing gets jammed in the action while the slide is returning to its home position, it is called a " stove pipe jam"
This can be caused by a few different things, most common is weak elbow lock and catching the casing in mid air during recoil. Another is a weak spring in the slide, heat and use will weaken this slide action spring, or return spring over time, simply replacing it ( very easy to do yourself ) will have you weapon perfoming at peak performance again.
Get a complete spring kit for your weapon, sooner or later you will need it.

Good advice.
I have been talking about getting rebuild kits for all of our weapons. Guess I need to get on it.
